Chore Update from the Mom!

Dear FSS Spy,

I just wanted to report to you that all of the children have been doing there chores faithfully, thoroughly and consistently. They have chore packs that they have to do everyday. But....on top of that they have been doing some extra stuff without being asked. Yesterday, Briley mopped the kitchen, living room, dining room and hallway without even being asked because she wanted to surprise me. Caleb grabs the baby and is constantly taking care of his needs (putting pacifier in his mouth, laying next to him and singing, bringing me diapers, etc) without having to be asked, Isaiah has become the self-proclaimed trash man in our house and has to gather the trash each morning. But throughout the day, he constantly picks up whatever trash or paper item he might see and just takes care of it without being told, and Audrey cries if I ask one of the children for something and she doesn't get to get it for me. She wants to help do everything! They all have been helping to try and potty train Macey since I have a hard time getting her in and out of the bathroom. They cheer her on and even reward her with marshmallows. She is making real progress and it has been because of the kids.
As their mommy, I am very proud of the daily work they are doing and the extra stuff they have been doing on their own. They have not complained one time and that means a lot! They have really got their act together and have applied themselves to out new system and structure. I am blessed to have such a great bunch of kids!

To the Reagan Children:

We've been watching your work and think its great. So we've snuck onto your blog page! There has been a FSS (Familybuilder Secret Spy) assigned to your case to reward you for the great work you're doing!

This week we want you to work extra hard on the living room or the front porch and we want to know how you're doing on it. Here's some ideas to get our attention:

• Dust the living room


• Pick up clutter (set your timer and work for 5 minutes)


• Sweep the front porch


• Straighten the front porch (shoes/boots included!:)

(These will be worth 5 FSS points if you do them.)

Other things that will get commendation will be:

• Putting pj's away every morning without being told for one week


• Making your bed without being told for one week


• Taking your plate and silverware to the kitchen without being asked at each meal for one week.

(worth 10 FSS points if you do this for one week.)

You will need to post on the blog at least once a week and report what you've done. So, if you have put your jammies away for one week just put on this blog- "Dear FSS-put my jammies away for one whole week-Audrey" (or Isaiah...or Briley....or Caleb...or even Macey!) and we'll keep track of that.

If you hear the rumor that FSS sends rewards when you get up to about 100 points that is true, so let's see what you can do!

work is going good.

today work has been going good. every morning I sweep living room dining room and kitchen Caleb does the dishes and wipes the table i do lunch dishes so we have had a good day. so i am just being lazy. so i gues i better be going now so good buy.

If at first you dont succeed......

moma says we need to be honest in our blogs. it has bee hard to get started. and it seems like took hours to get our rooms cleaned so daddy wasent to happy about that. today I made lunch I made corn and green beans. but I messed up on the green beans. so I gues I better be going good buy.

playing in the basement

tonight we were playing like it was christmas. we had the old record player playing christmas Caleb was the father and Audrey was the mother and we all had fun. daddy has been stressed out so i hope he gets a good night sleep well now i am going to watch some wagon so i gues i better get off here good buy.

how we are doing.

Last night Audrey was running up the driveway. and there was a chain. and she reached out to grab it but she didnt get it. and it close lined her and lifted feet off the ground and and she landed on her head. and she got a mild concussion. I haft to admit it has slowed work down a little bit. so todayit has been a little bit hard to get focessed on our work. but we are trying. so I gues I better be going now good buy.

first sunday with mommy home.

today is sunday. this morning during sunday school I stayed home with mommy. than during church misses sue stayed home with mommy. this after noon.
we have been watching Scooby Doo and have had fun. well I gues I better be going now.by briley.
