Introduction from the Momma...

Anyone who has followed my blogs in the past knows at least something about our family. In short, my husband is a full-time pastor and I am a stay-at-home mom. We are blessed with 6 beautiful and healthy children that we desire to raise for the Lord. We have lived here in Ohio for 5 years now and are thankful for the people that the Lord has allowed us to minister to here at First Baptist Church.

On March 12, 2009, I woke up paralyzed from my waist down and have been since that time. I was 5 months pregnant at the time, so there was not much that could be done. We do not know what the future holds, but we are trusting the Lord for whatever He has planned for us.

We have always been a close family and this new chapter in our lives has definitely been challenging for us. We feel that these kind of things will either make you closer or tear you apart. We believe that what you say is love is truly defined in the actions of all in how this can be handled. Believing this, we have chosen to take this and grow closer to each other - to be unselfish in our feelings and actions and that together we can do all of this as a family.

After having my baby, my mother was here for a good while and challenged the children to start a blog about how we are handling this as a family. The children got very excited about it and asked me to help them get it started. We know that there will be a lot of trial and error as well as some things that have really helped us. They want to share all of this as well as their thoughts and feelings about things and they hope that this will be a good place to share what they are going through while hoping to inspire other children to do more and be an encouragement to their own families.

The Reagan children are as follows:

Briley (10) - my oldest daughter and future typist of this blog. She is a very industrious girl and is the right arm of her daddy and momma.

Caleb (8) - my oldest son and the one who is my deep thinker. He wants to add his ideas to this blog.

Isaiah (6) - my second son and the one who is all about action. He jumps into any new situation and faces it as a challenge.

Audrey (4) - my second daughter and the one who notices every little detail. If something gets looked over, she will make sure it gets discovered!

Macey (2) - my third daughter and the source of many messes, but also the source of an endless supply of giggles and entertainment for us all.

Elisha (newborn) - my third son and at this present time, a source of many snuggles.

We invite you to share this journey with our family and enjoy our life from the viewpoint of the Reagan kids, and their "We Can Do It" club.
